Description
This Baked Feta with Green Olives and Figs recipe is the perfect end-of-summer, welcome-to-fall appetizer. With only 5 minutes of prep time and a one-pan bake, this easy-to-prepare appetizer can be ready in about 25 minutes from start to finish.
Ingredients

- 8 oz Greek block feta cheese in brine, brine discarded
- 6 oz (1 cup) Black Mission figs, stemmed and halved
- 5 oz pitted Castelvetrano olives
- 50 g (4 tbsp) olive oil
- Zest/peel of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh Tarragon
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celcius).
- In a medium broil-safe baking dish, add the drained block of feta cheese. Arrange the olives and figs around the block of feta.
- Drizzle the feta and ingredients with olive oil, then sprinkle the lemon zest, tarragon, and a few cracks of black pepper over the top.
- Bake on the middle rack for 15 minutes, then transfer to the top rack and broil on high for an extra 5 minutes. The feta should be soft and the figs lightly caramelized.
- Carefully remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve the Baked Feta with Green Olives and Figs warm with crackers or bread.
