Hey, I’m Jenni!
Welcome to my adventures on the road and in the kitchen! I focus on healthy, whole foods in my kitchen, but you’ll notice that I unapologetically bend the food rules when I venture out. Most of my recipes are SIBO, Keto, and/or Paleo-friendly and I will notate potential substitutions
when possible when they occur to me.
I believe you should eat what makes you feel good. For me, I feel best when I stick to a mostly grain-free diet, but sometimes tacos are just good for the soul so you may see some gluten-free grains show up from time to time on this blog. I’m not a perfect cook. I have a knack for accidentally leaving the sweetener out of the pumpkin pie every Thanksgiving, but I make up for it by always remembering to buy extra wine.
From time-to-time, I will invite you along on my non-kitchen adventures. Sometimes they involve whisky tasting in the Scottish highlands and other times they involve sweatpants, crochet needles, gardening, and sassy ramblings about what I’m reading or listening to at the moment.
I live in PDX with my fella and our sweet pup. I’m an avid traveler, lover of the PNW, friend to all dogs, wild feminist, Harry Potter nerd, reader, and music lover.
