Pleased to meet you, I’m Jenni!
Welcome to my adventures on the road and in the kitchen! I focus on healthy, whole foods in my kitchen, but you’ll notice that I unapologetically bend the food rules when I venture out. My recipes are predominantly gluten-free and refined sugar-free, with many catering to one or more of the following diets: Keto, Paleo, Low-FODMAP/SIBO, Whole30.
My food philosophy
I believe you should eat what makes you feel good. For me, I feel best when I stick to a mostly grain-free diet, but sometimes tacos are just good for the soul so you may see some gluten-free grains show up from time to time on this blog. I’m not a perfect cook. I have a knack for accidentally leaving the sweetener out of the pumpkin pie every Thanksgiving, but I make up for it by always remembering to buy extra wine.
From time-to-time, I will invite you along on my non-kitchen adventures. Sometimes they involve whisky tasting in the Scottish highlands and other times they might involve sweatpants and sassy ramblings about what I’m reading or listening to at the moment ->> I’d love for you to join me in my 2019 Goodreads Reading Challenge!
